Getting Started

Getting started is easy!! Here is how to set up your account

• Review and sign our Management Agreement

• Complete the Owner Information form

• Send check to Home Basics Real Estate for the one-time set-up fee

• Provide keys/garage door remotes/garage keypad code to property manager

• Provide current lease agreement(s) and contact information to tenant(s), if occupied

We will take it from here.

If occupied, we will introduce ourselves to your current tenants and inform them of your decision to hire Home Basics Real Estate. We will instruct them on how to pay rent, how to contact us, and how to request maintenance. At this time, we will inspect the property and we will report any issues or concerns we discover.

If your property is vacant, we will inspect the property and make any recommendations that will improve the likelihood of renting your unit faster and for more money. At this inspection, we will also verify the status of utilities, document condition of your unit, take digital pictures for documentation purposes and advertising, ensure the property is secure, etc. Immediately, we will design advertising for your rental unit and implement an effective marketing plan to find a quality tenant.
